OUTSIDE TEAMS UP WITH FORD ON "GO. DO. ADVENTURE" MULTIMEDIA CAMPAIGN

(Westport, CT) Outside Television, America’s active lifestyle leader, announced today that it will be a primary media and production partner in Ford’s “Go. Do. Adventure” multimedia campaign to promote the all-new 2011 Explorer.

Ford’s “Go. Do. Adventure” campaign, launched at the Chicago Auto Show on February 9, invites the public to submit their dream adventure by responding to the question: What kind of adventure trip would you take with your family and friends if you had the all-new 2011 Ford Explorer for a week? Outside Television will assist Ford in selecting the most compelling entries, making each of the selected dreams become a reality and documenting it.

Together, Outside Television and Ford will produce a 10-part webisode series to highlight each story throughout the year. Outside will promote and distribute the content through their multiple platforms which include television, print, online, social media and tablet applications.

As a part of the partnership, Outside Television will leverage its leadership position in the active lifestyle marketplace to coordinate the logistics for each of Ford’s “Go. Do. Adventure” selected entries. Outside Television will manage the execution of the adventures by planning every detail of the journeys including: outfitting from gear, apparel and accessory partners; securing athletes/personalities as industry experts; and access to unique resorts/destinations and more.

Leading the webisode production is Outside Television’s Emmy-award winning SVP of Programming and Production Rob Faris. “Outside Television specializes in creating custom content and original programming in the active lifestyle space,” explained Faris. “To team with Ford Explorer to bring the ‘Go. Do, Adventure’ familial experiences to life will be the perfect marriage of brand experience and storytelling for our consumers.”

Each webisode will by uniquely captured and ultimately debuting as the “Go. Do. Adventure” series on Outside Television, outsidetelevision.com and across the entire web.
