Jeanine regularly travels the globe in search of the latest trends influencing the Active market. From Aspen to Tokyo to Copenhagen and Los Angeles, during any season, there is a good chance you’ll run into her taking photos or talking shop. Jeanine is the go-to woman in her market for tracking Active trends and reports her findings to a wide range of designers, retailers and manufacturers worldwide.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Jeanine didn’t have the typical upbringing associated with city life. Daughter of a NYC Firefighter, Jeanine spent her days at the firehouse scaling the engine truck, while weekends were spent camping in the Catskills, riding horses, snowboarding and figure skating.

Jeanine got her start in the world of Journalism, but decided to opt for a different route, earning a BS in Fashion Design from Philadelphia’s Drexel University. She continued to design and work as a freelance writer until she found her true calling as a Trend Consultant. Her early love of the outdoors resurfaced, and she began to consult for Active and Footwear clients throughout the country. Seven years later, Jeanine is now the Active Editor for Stylesight.com, the leading online provider of trend forecasting, analysis and reporting, headquartered in NYC.

Working diligently behind the scenes, Jeanine specializes in lifestyle trends, color, materials, and innovation within the market. Her client list includes heavy hitters like Nike, Adidas, Columbia, Patagonia, Asics and Under Armour. She reports on major active events like Wimbledon and the World Cup, as well as a long list of tradeshows including ISPO, Outdoor Retailer, SIA, Interbike and Golf Europe. She also daily updates Stylesight's industry blog, Active Ingredients, and works closely with the Paris-based Forecasting Team on seasonal Active Forecasts.

When she isn't traveling, you can find her in Park Slope riding bikes, running with her dog and doing yoga.
