Darcy Turenne

Darcy Turenne is a professional freeride mountain bike athlete and outdoorswoman. In addition to hosting Ride Guide, Darcy has worked intensively with Norco to design the women's specific freeride bike the "Vixa" as well as the women's specific "Forma" series.

She has also been featured as a model and athlete for Oakley's "Uniquely" ad campaign. Darcy has been featured many times in mountain bike magazines, and has also gained mainstream media attention from articles in Men's Journal and Rolling Stone magazine.

Darcy Turenne is an avid environmentalist and holds a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria where she graduated in 2007. She is currently enrolled in the Professional Communications program at Royal Roads University and will graduate with a Masters of Arts in 2011. When not riding her bike she spends her time surfing or skiing, with surfing winning out more times than not. She spends the majority her free time in the water searching for waves or plotting her next unexplored destination.
