Back At It

This past week I started my epic comeback... Well maybe it's not so much epic as it isn't really a comeback in my mind, just a necessary pit stop in the course of my career. It's been 72 days since I had my labrum and gluteus medius repaired and my first day on snow couldn't have gone much better. Here is a little video I put together for the monumental occasion. A Visual Review

Here is a short edit that Tommy Ford put together a little while ago. Tommy is one of my teammates who I have been skiing with for a long time. This season, we have gotten into filming a bunch of the activities that we do with GoPro cameras. Our hope is to get some cool shots that really weren’t possible before and create a “semi-lifestyle” video blog. This includes getting first person video from skiing during races (shown in this edit). Enjoy!

On the Road Again...

Recently, life has been pretty crazy. I have done 9 races since January 16th and have been able to put down solid, fast runs in the process. I'm really excited with how things are working out right now and hope to continue moving forward with everything these next couple months.

Trials and Tribulations

What goes on in an elite athlete’s head in the midst of a failure? A lot. And on the World Cup circuit, failure comes around much more often than success so it is important to know how to deal with it and move on to the next stage.
