MARK BURCHILL
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Mark Burchill is the CEO of Outside Television, the leading cable channel for the active, outside lifestyle. Burchill took the helm in 2007, leading a buyout of Resorts Sports Network (RSN), a leader in producing and distributing outdoor programming to high end resort markets. In 2009, he forged a joint venture with Outside magazine that would bring the iconic Outside brand to life as Outside Television. The rebranded network launched in June 2010 and reaches over 61 million viewers in the U.S. annually.
Mr. Burchill is a successful entrepreneur. He was a cofounder of 24/7 Media, a global internet marketing company that had annual sales in excess of $200 million and a top market cap in excess of $1 billion. 24/7 Media went public in 1998 (Nasdaq: TFSM) and was bought by WPP Group in 2007. As the head of business development for Petry Media, the largest TV rep firm in the US, he lived and worked in Hong Kong laying the groundwork for a joint venture Asian ad sales company with Pearson PLC. Mr. Burchill began his career in the media department of Young & Rubicam Advertising in New York where he worked on large national accounts such as Colgate-Palmolive and American Home Products.
ROB FARIS
SVP OF PROGRAMMING & PRODUCTION
Rob Faris is responsible for the creation and development of all the network’s programming content, as well as managing its online and social media efforts. As head of Outside Television’s operations department, Faris leads an acclaimed production team of producers, directors and writers. His duties also involve collaborating with Outside magazine’s editors on the conception of new series that reflect the editorial content of the publication. A 4-time Emmy Award-winning television producer himself, Faris was previously the Executive Producer at Voom HD, a suite of HD channels owned by Cablevision. Overseeing three of the channels, most notably Rush HD, his programming reached 36 countries and served over 32 million viewers worldwide. Prior to Voom HD, Faris was a member of the Emmy-winning team for NBC Sports 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens; a producer at Madison Square Garden; and a Feature Producer at ESPN where has was part of the Emmy-and Peabody-winning Sports Century series.
CARMINE PARISI

Media sales veteran Carmine Parisi leads all sales and marketing initiatives for Outside Television. Parisi comes to the network from the National Football League where he expanded the NFL network and NFL.com by five times between 2006 and 2009 in his media sales management role. During this tenure, he created integrated marketing solutions and managed official sponsorships for clients such as Pepsi, MillerCoors, Mars, Sprint, GM and State Farm. In addition to the NFL, Parisi boasts 15 years experience at major media agencies, including OMD and Initiative Media where he managed major national blue chip clients such as Universal Pictures, Nissan, Infiniti, Hilton Hotels, Sprint and Hershey. Parisi was responsible for one billion dollars in media buying annually.
JEFF DUMAIS
SVP OF TELEVISION PROPERTIES
Jeff Dumais oversees the network’s 10 owned and operated television stations. Dumais also oversees network relationships with its 21 affiliate stations located across the country. With 30 years experience in the film and television business, Dumais was a Founder, President and General Manager of Resort Sports Network, the national television network that specialized in creating and distributing outdoor-lifestyle content to premier vacation destinations throughout the country, prior to its rebrand to Outside Television in June, 2010. Dumais also founded Snowfields Productions, operator of WSKI TV at Sugarloaf, Maine.
CATHY RASENBERGER
EVP OF DISTRIBUTION
Catherine Rasenberger, a 25-year veteran of the cable industry, is responsible for expanding Outside Television’s distribution. Hired on contract, Rasenberger’s role is to extend the network’s reach by creating alliances with cable systems, satellite networks, Telco’s, and Internet companies. As founder of Rasenberger Media, she has successfully launched more than 20 networks including World Championship Sports Network (now Universal Sports), TRIO, News world International, and TV One, among others. Rasenberger Media has also advised many established media companies such as Verizon Wireless, Outdoor Channel Holdings Inc., MGM, and Universal Music on business development and growth strategies.
DENNIS GILLESPIE
EVP OF DISTRIBUTION
Dennis Gillespie, a 30-year veteran of the cable industry, is responsible for expanding Outside Television’s distribution. Gillespie’s role is to extend the network’s reach by creating alliances with cable systems, satellite networks, Telco’s, and Internet companies. Gillespie was most recently Senior Vice President of GSN, The Network for Games, where he led all facets of GSN sales and marketing initiatives to multichannel video providers in the United States and Canada. Prior to his stint at GSN, Gillespie was a Senior Vice President with Tribune Broadcasting, and spent more than a decade at MTV Networks, where he led sales efforts in the Northeast region for 16 cable networks and serving on the strategy teams for Nickelodeon, VH1 and Comedy Central.
